Your Opportunity
Our client is a globally active, family-owned German company and one of the leading manufacturers of complete medical systems in the fields of regional anaesthesia, pain management, neurology, minimally invasive surgery, and biopsy.
Close collaboration with medical professionals, ongoing investment in research and development, and a robust international sales network ensure the company’s capacity for innovation and strong market position. A combination of technical excellence, practical relevance, and a lived corporate culture makes the company an attractive employer with a long-term perspective.
As part of its continued European expansion, a new sales subsidiary is being established in France. The aim is to implement direct market coverage, unlock existing potential more effectively, and strengthen the market position in a sustainable way.
To lead this important strategic initiative, we are looking for a strong leader with in-depth knowledge of the French healthcare market, strategic foresight, and a hands-on mentality.
Your Role
As Managing Director France (m/f/d), you will be responsible for building and leading the newly established sales subsidiary. You will shape the organizational structure, recruit talent, establish processes, and guide the company into its next phase of growth.
You will drive business development with commercial prudence and market insight, develop the sales organization, and ensure effective positioning in the French healthcare sector. Your responsibilities will also include building relationships with key opinion leaders, hospitals, and institutional partners, as well as maintaining close alignment with the parent company. As a member of the international leadership team, you will represent the interests of the French market in a global context.
Your Profile
-
Degree in business, engineering, healthcare, or a comparable field
-
Several years of experience as Managing Director or in a similar leadership role, combined with a successful track record in direct sales of medical devices
-
Proven success in building and developing sales or business structures
-
Ideally, experience in one or more of the following areas: regional anaesthesia, pain management, neurology, biopsy, or minimally invasive surgery
-
Fluency in French and English; ideally, very good German skills
Your Strengths
You are a visionary leader who combines commercial acumen with strong communication skills. You identify opportunities, provide strategic direction, and inspire action – without losing sight of operational details. In creating new structures, you act with clarity and pragmatism; in leadership, with openness and trust. Your decisions are grounded in sound analysis and reflect a strong sense of responsibility toward employees, customers, and the organization.
